just thinking
Nobody really wants to be evil.
When someone does something evil, he cannot really help it. Even realising the nature of what he is doing does not stop him from doing it. Maybe he was evil from the start so he did not stop himself from doing what he ought not to do. But in the first place, he did not choose to be evil. Nobody chooses the kind of personality we want to become. You think you do - but really, you don't since you probably can't explain how you consciously made yourself the way you are today.
Our mind instinctively rejects determinism. But look at some screwed up people you know. They don't really want to be screwed up...but they are and its so hard for them to come out of it. How should they be different from us? WHAT IF ... evil is an inevitability?
And that it comes from an external source, and that the person who performs the evil act is merely a medium through which the source acts.
And that, really, there is no such thing as an evil person. Except in the mind.
